According to Resilience Media, Destinus has bought Perciv AI, a Dutch company that develops AI-based radar perception software. The outlet reported on 21 October 2026 that financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
The cap table behind the exit
Perciv AI was spun out of TU Delft and founded by Andras Palffy, Balazs Szekeres and Srimannarayana Baratam. In 2024 it raised a €2.5m seed round backed by DayOne Capital, Keen Venture Partners and Vinci Venture Capital.
What Perciv builds
The company's software uses neural-network models to process radar data for object detection and tracking, including targets with a low radar cross section. Resilience Media notes the technology is useful where GNSS is unavailable or degraded.
Destinus keeps buying in the Netherlands
The deal is Destinus' third acquisition in the Netherlands. It follows the purchase of assets from OPRA in 2023 and of Aerialtronics in 2025.
Perciv AI will become Destinus' centre for radar perception, and its founding team will continue to lead the business. Palffy, Director of Technology at Perciv AI, said a year of work with Destinus had shown the value of linking perception research directly to system development, and that joining the group gives the company the scale to develop its technology and grow the team in Delft.
The acquisition adds to other perception work inside the group. Destinus' company Daedalean provides optical perception and GNSS-denied navigation, and a joint venture between Destinus and TNO is developing advanced radar seeker technologies. Resilience Media wrote that the Perciv deal completes the package.
"Radar perception needs to be developed as part of the complete system," said Mikhail Kokorich, founder and CEO of Destinus. He added that bringing Perciv AI in-house gives Destinus control over a critical technology and puts its engineers directly into product development.
What comes next
The founding team stays in charge of the unit, which will operate as Destinus' radar perception centre and continue to grow in Delft. Resilience Media said it had contacted Destinus for comment without a reply before publication, and described the story as developing.
