Lyra Technology Group, a platform of Evergreen, has bought Halsteren managed service provider Lantack B.V., bringing its 10 employees into a group of 140+ companies across 7 countries.
Lyra Technology Group, a platform of Evergreen, has acquired Lantack B.V., a managed service provider founded in 2008 and headquartered in Halsteren, the company said in a statement. The deal is Evergreen's first investment in the Netherlands and extends Lyra's European presence into the Benelux. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Deal structure
Lantack will keep operating independently under its own name, led by founder and CEO Cliff Lagendijk and the current leadership team. Its employees, customer relationships and day-to-day operations stay in place.
The buyer describes its model as permanent capital. In the release, Lyra says that, as a platform of Evergreen, it never divests from the businesses it partners with, and that companies joining the group retain their employees, name and culture.
Lantack's 10 employees join a Lyra community of more than 140 companies across 7 countries.
The business
Lagendijk built Lantack to bring enterprise-level IT standards to small and medium-sized businesses while keeping the personal relationships of a local technology partner. The company is a Microsoft Solutions Partner with expertise across Microsoft 365, Azure and Modern Workplace.
Its customers sit in professional services, manufacturing, logistics and maritime, wholesale and other business-to-business sectors. Some run users and IT environments spanning Europe, the United States and Asia, according to the release. Lantack delivers managed IT, cloud, cybersecurity and modern workplace services under a culture it calls Carefree ICT.
Market context
Lyra frames the purchase against faster M&A activity in Europe's managed services market, where small and mid-sized MSPs face rising cybersecurity, compliance and talent demands.
Dakota Ferguson, Regional CEO of Europe at Lyra Technology Group, said Lantack is the first Benelux-based MSP to join Evergreen, calling it "an important step in the continued growth of our community in Europe".
Lagendijk said joining the group gives Lantack access to a larger community of IT companies, entrepreneurs and resources, while the business continues to be built around its own people and customers.
What comes next
Lyra says it continues to actively pursue acquisitions of established MSPs across the Benelux, the Nordics and wider Europe. Its focus is on Microsoft-focused providers serving small to mid-sized and mid-market businesses.
