Fastned's retail bond book reaches €364m outstanding as its 22nd tranche brings in €27m

Amsterdam-listed Fastned has closed its third and final retail bond issue of 2026 with €27m of new money, taking new investment for the year to €92m, up from €79m in 2025.

Fastned, the fast-charging operator listed on Euronext Amsterdam, said the latest tranche drew thousands of individual retail investors in the Netherlands and Belgium. The €92m raised in new investment this year is the highest annual amount to date.

    The bond mechanics

The issue opened on 22 September 2026 and closed on Friday 30 October 2026. It was the 22nd tranche of Fastned's bond programme. On top of the €27m in new money, existing investors extended €1.2m from earlier tranches.

The tranche brings the total outstanding amount of Fastned's retail bonds to €364m. To date, Fastned has repaid €45m of bonds, while investors have extended €82m of bonds before they reached maturity. Including this issue, more than €400m has been invested in Fastned bonds by over 13,000 individual investors, the company said.

    Where the money goes

The proceeds will be used to increase the pace of construction. Fastned's network has 452 fast-charging stations across nine European countries, with 70 stations under construction, almost double the number a year ago. The company has built 46 new stations so far in 2026.

In its Q3 2026 update, Fastned reported like-for-like charging-related revenue growth of 47% year on year to €46.3m, while gross profit rose 44% to €37m. Reported charging-related revenue was €51.3m, which includes a €5.1m carryover impact from the Dutch e-credits platform.

    What comes next

Michiel Langezaal, CEO and co-founder of Fastned, thanked retail investors for their trust and said the funds give the company the resources to keep building its network and opening new stations. "We take this responsibility seriously," he said.

Fastned, which has been building charging infrastructure in Europe since 2012, is a certified B Corp. With this tranche it has completed its retail bond issuance for 2026.
